Denver Art Museum acquires Martha Daniels' ceramic sculpture, "Spring Plant Form," for its Modern and Contemporary Art Collection. E-mail
The Denver Art Museum announced in 2015 that it had acquired Martha Daniels' ceramic sculpture, "Spring Plant Form," for its Modern and Contemporary Art Collection. The sculpture was featured in the exhibition "Showing Off,"  new acquisitions by the Denver Art Museum, held at the Daniel Liebeskind-designed Hamilton Building, 2015-2016.  In addition to this sculpture, the DAM also holds "Three Gold and Green Towers" by Daniels in its collection. Other works by Ms Daniels were also exhibited recently in "Earth and Fire," a contemporary ceramics exhibition at the DAM.

 
WORLD INTERIORS NEWS 2013 COMPETITION
Materia Matrix, a large six-foot square gilded ceramic and metal screen, has been accepted into the 2013 World Interiors News (WIN) annual competition.  It is included under the category "Furniture, Products."    Chief Juror, Sir Terence Conran, selected this prestigious collection to showcase those  "...who have made the biggest impact on our visual culture over the past year..." Awards dinner to be held at Saatchi Gallery London, 28 November 2013.
